Байкалъ Чекановскiй 14 V 78 [Kultuk, southwest Baikal, Chekanovskiy 14 V 1878]”, “praep. micr. № 3125 | Peronea submaccana Fil. ♂ Байкал [Baikal]”, “Paratypus Peronea submaccana Fil. ”. Present status. Acleris submaccana (Filipjev, 1962). Comments. In Gilligan et al. (2018), the type locality was imprecisely listed as “Siberia”.Another male specimen in the ZISP collection, labeled “Минусинск 20. V.24, Филипьев [Minusinsk, 20. V.24, Filipjev]”, with a gold circle, “praep. micr. № 1404 | Ac. submaccana Fil. ♂ Минус. [Minus.]”, “Paratypus Peronea submaccana Fil. ” should not be treated as a type specimen, despite the gold circle, as it was not mentioned in the original description.
