Year: 2025
Type: review
Abstract: This database is part of a systematic literature review aimed at analyzing situational factors in business talk, a critical component of organizational communication. The research hypothesis is that situational factors significantly impact business communication dynamics, including the establishment of relationships, cooperation, and conflict resolution in business environments. The data gathered primarily consists of bibliographic and content analyses of existing literature, following PRISMA guidelines. The data showcases key research areas, including external and internal communication, research frontiers, methods, trends, and identified gaps. Notable findings indicate that external communication is the dominant focus in current business communication studies, while internal communication and interdisciplinary approaches are underexplored. Keyword clustering in the scientometric analysis highlights emerging research hotspots, suggesting the complexity of business communication as a multifaceted area of academic interest. This data allows researchers to identify research trends and gaps in the literature, offering a clearer understanding of how situational factors influence business talk. It can be used to inform future studies and refine communication strategies in a globalized business context. The data is structured for easy interpretation, with bibliographic details, keyword clustering, and thematic content analysis that can guide future research in this area.
