Abstract: The Lemurian theory holds that the first human race emerged in Lemuria, located south of South India, and that they are the aborigines of Tamil Nadu. The descendants of the people who lived on the Lemurian continent now live in South India, Sri Lanka, and the East Indies. They share many characteristics, including ethnic identity, physical similarity, and linguistic similarity. The languages spoken by the Maori people, the aborigines of New Zealand, and the people living on the small islands scattered around this island, have a connection with Tamil. In addition, the cult symbols revered by some tribes and clans of the South Indian people, including the ‘boomerang’, a returning hunting knife thrown by the Kallars, can be found among the aborigines living in Indonesia and Polynesia.
