The purpose of this is to assess the changes that have occurred in Ifelodun LGA wetlands from 2002 to 2022. The data was obtained from remote sensing data using Landsat TM 2002 and Landsat ETM 2022, covering the distribution of wetland costs and accession from 2002 to 2022. Questionnaires were also used to gather data for this research work. Residents, key agencies, state and local governments have to take on the responsibility of ensuring the sustainable expansion of the area without compromising its natural and valuable wetlands in the public interest.
