Abstract: White blood cells (WBCs), also known as leukocytes, are vital elements of the immune system that protect the body against illnesses and infections. A decrease in leukocyte parameters, known as leukopenia, can significantly impact immune function and indicate underlying health issues. This concise report aims to provide an overview of leukopenia, including its causes, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and management. A disorder known as leukopenia occurs when the body's white blood cell count is below normal. Leukopenia typically results from specific illnesses or ailments and might present with symptoms related to its underlying causes.
