Abstract: The diclofenac sodium gels were prepared by using different concentration of Carbopol for topical drug delivery. Carbopol High Molecular weight water soluble homo polymer, it possesses very high viscosity in low concentration, transparency, film forming properties and are useful in formation of gel. The gel was prepared and evaluated for pH, Spread ability, Homogeneity, Drug Content. The percentage drug release was 99%
