Abstract: This research was focused on understanding the Lake Surface Water Temperature (LSWT) dynamics of Lake Gregory, a shallow, urban lake in Sri Lanka, using a one-dimensional hydrodynamic model (General Lake Model - GLM). Due to a lack of on-site measurements, Leveraged NASA POWER reanalysis data for meteorological inputs and Landsat Level 2 Surface Temperature Science Product (LST-L2) data for model calibration and validation.
