Topic Title: "Optimizing Gas Exchange: Modeling O2 and CO2 Transport in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenators with Sinusoidal Fiber Shape" This research focused on modeling the transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide in extracorporeal membrane oxygenators (ECMO), devices used to provide respiratory support to critically ill patients. The research examined the pros and cons of using sinusoidal fiber morphology in ECMO.
