Blackbox Testing on Blibli E-Commerce Login Feature State Transistion Testing

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study investigates the application of Black Box Testing on the login feature of the Blibli mobile application using the State Transition Testing method. The login feature is critical for user authentication and access control, making its reliability essential. State Transition Testing models the system's behavior across various states—such as idle, login success, login failure, and account lockout—based on user interactions. Test cases were derived from a state diagram to validate all possible transitions. The results show that the login feature responds correctly under both valid and invalid conditions, confirming its functional accuracy. This research emphasizes the importance of behavior-based testing in ensuring software quality in e-commerce applications.
