Gravity and Time as informational Gradients: A unified Framework of Entanglement. Emergence, and Spacetime
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents a novel perspective on the nature of gravity and time, proposing that both emerge from quantum entanglement and informational gradients rather than existing as fundamental forces. Drawing from quantum information theory, thermodynamics, and general relativity, we develop a framework where time arises via the Page–Wootters mechanism, while gravity manifests as an entropic or informational force governed by variations in entanglement entropy. By extending Einstein’s field equations to include an informational stress-energy tensor, we show how quantum entanglement can shape spacetime, potentially resolving key cosmological puzzles such as dark matter, dark energy, and the black hole information paradox. This approach provides a testable foundation for emergent gravity, aligning with recent observations of gravitational lensing and galaxy rotation curves without invoking exotic particles. We explore empirical tests for this framework, including laboratory experiments on entangled atomic clocks, proposals for detecting gravity-induced entanglement, and astrophysical observations of cosmic structure formation. The results suggest a deep connection between quantum information and the fabric of spacetime, pointing toward a future in which physics is governed by information at all scales. With a firm grounding in holography, quantum gravity, and entropy-based dynamics, this paper offers a fresh and rigorous take on how the universe may be fundamentally structured. Does spacetime itself arise from the flow of information? This work builds toward that profound possibility.
