Carbon Emission Calculator
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: The maritime industry currently experiences pressure to reduce its carbon footprint and increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Winner efficient emission tracking and optimization makes it possible to sustain cargo ship management. This paper deals with Ocean Oracle, which is based on AI/ML and is to be geared to real-time interventions in emissions monitoring and optimization as an application. The system has AI-generated calculations around registration, booking, and route planning to estimate and minimize carbon emissions during these phases of ship operation. Some of the high-end functionalities in Ocean Oracle automated emissions prediction, route optimization, and carbon offsets integration. The analytics dashboard shows emissions trends, savings from optimizations, and environmental impacts. This paves the way for a greener shipping industry through machine learning enabling better decision-making, reduction of emissions, and greener maritime operations.
