Valve Noise and Cavitation in Pumps

Abstract: The article reveals the most common and worst source of valve noise. This is due to the high speeds or mass waves passing through the corresponding structures. Increasing the noise level can reduce the amount of air in the liquid solution, prevent the use of liquids with low vapor pressure, and increase the outlet pressure.
