Abstract: This article provides information about cloud technologies. Concepts and opinions on the implementation of cloud technologies in our lives, their capabilities and advantages are presented. Basic information on the role of cloud technologies in education is provided. Detailed information is provided on the effective use of cloud technologies to improve the quality of education, a broader explanation of topics and more effective work with students. As an example, the capabilities of Google Drive are given when explaining a topic. Its main services are explained in detail using specific examples, and a description is given. In addition, detailed information is provided on the implementation of cloud technologies in the Republic of Uzbekistan, modern possibilities for their use, companies that provide their use, and the definitions given by these companies.
