Abstract: Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named millerse/Ant-Plant-Interactions, has fingerprint hash://md5/056cd43863bf53c3d7a04637a451a0b7, is 330KiB in size and contains 786 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., eats) between 28 primary taxa (e.g., Cephalotes pusillus) and 75 associated taxa (e.g., Symphyopappus reticulatus). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
