D8.5. Report on use of designer soils for Sustainable Urban Drainage systems
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This document is a Deliverable of the Co-UDlabs project, funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101008626. This report compiles investigations conducted by AAU on a new modeling approach for designing techno-soils used in bioretention systems, as well as research from INSA Lyon on the filtration and retention capacities of a new engineered soil developed by the German company HAURATON. The performance of Hauraton’s substrate was compared to that of natural soil.
