Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Oneiroid psychosis is a condition where the patient feels a mix of reality and dream-like states. This condition presents unique challenges for diagnosis and treatment because it is rare; therefore, it represents an important area of study in psychiatry. This paper uses scientific fields such as psychiatry, neurobiology, phenomenology, and clinical psychology to provide a well-rounded approach to understanding the condition. Further research is crucial to identify the underlying issues, enhance diagnostic tools, and create more effective treatments. Understanding this condition aids clinical settings and contributes to a deeper understanding of the complex nature of the human mind and its altered states.
