Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This article examines the influence of open communication within the family on the motivation of children with dysgraphia. Dysgraphia, as a specific writing disorder, significantly impacts children's academic achievements and self-esteem, making the importance of family dynamics undeniable. In the course of the study, the level of open communication was analyzed in 50 families with children who have dysgraphia. Participants were divided into two groups: the first group consisted of families with a high level of open communication, while the second group included families with a low level of communication. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and individual interviews. The results showed that children from families with open communication displayed higher levels of motivation and confidence in their abilities, whereas a low level of communication correlated with a decrease in these indicators. The article emphasizes the importance of emotional support and open communication in the family as means to enhance motivation and confidence in children, which ultimately affects their academic success and personal growth.
