Abstract: The article investigates the impact of digital technologies on the specialists training in the field of geodesy, land management and urban planning. The methods of introducing geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing and automated data processing into the educational process are considered. The practical skills that students acquire through the use of new technologies are analyzed, as well as the adaptation of curricula to the requirements of the modern labor market to increase the competitiveness of graduates.
