Leaching Kinetics of Plate-shaped Particles

Abstract: The type of the leaching kinetics equation depends on the area of the process - diffusion or kinetic, the nature of the solid material and solution, and the size and shape of the particles. The authors considered the course of leaching in the kinetic region for a solid polydisperse material in the form of a square plate, while neglecting the surface of the side faces of the plate. The distribution function of the number of particles N by their size r is taken in the form N=a∙rb , where a and b are constants. This distribution was used for the mathematical justification of the value of the order of the kinetic equation for a solid material.
