Abstract: The research paper evaluates the poetry of Niranjan Mohanty. The poet in Mohanty is deep-rooted in his traditions and culture. He is wholly Indian who is bound by the cords of patience and humanity. He does not close his eyes to the contemporary society which he presents in its true colour. His poetry is technically flawless. The fusion of content and form makes his poetry appealing and heart-touching. His poetry unfolds the idiom of creative process. It is replete with a message—the message of love. His poems are interwoven with the texture of family, home, rain, landscape, human predicament, and dreams. He wishes to spread love everywhere as he is cosmopolitan and catholic in his approach.
