Experimental Data for "Seismic Fault Weakening due to Thermal Pressurization of Comminution-Induced Hydrophilic Talc"
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This dataset contains the original experimental data for the manuscript titled “Seismic Fault Weakening due to Thermal Pressurization of Comminution-Induced Hydrophilic Talc“. The objective of the experiments is to measure the changes in crystallinity, particle size and water content of comminuted talc using high-energy ball mill. There are five experiments: (1)X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), (2)Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area, (3)Laser diffraction particle size analysis, (4)Thermogrvimetric (TG) analysis, and (5)Solid-state H-1 magic angle spinning (MAS) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
