Abstract: This guidebook is designed to help cities, policymakers, stakeholders, and Living Labs integrate health, environment, and social inequality into urban governance practices. It provides practical guidelines for applying a co-creative approach to urban governance, which is essential in addressing, multifaceted challenges cities face today, such as health equity, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. Addressing these wicked problems requires innovative approaches that bring together stakeholders from various sectors and bridge gaps between diverse or even conflicting perspectives. Such approaches are necessary to develop inclusive solutions that respond effectively to the urgency of these urban issues. Within this context, Urban Living Labs have emerged as powerful tools in urban governance processes and co-creation driving the transformation of urban spaces into more collaborative, resilient, sustainable, equitable, and liveable environments.
