Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper explores the persistent issue of gender roles and workplace inequality through a cross-cultural lens. By examining sociocultural, economic, and institutional factors across diverse regions, the study highlights how gender roles—shaped by culture, tradition, and societal expectations—impact career opportunities, wage parity, leadership representation, and workplace dynamics. Using a comparative approach, it underscores both universal patterns and culturally specific challenges, and provides policy recommendations aimed at fostering gender equity in global professional environments.
