SATERA D3.1 Signal features extraction systems description
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This document provides a comprehensive description, and an extensive overview of the architecture, design rationale, and performance analysis of the satellite-based receiver system capable of capturing Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) signals emitted by aircraft from a receiver installed on a satellite. Specifically, it focuses on the methods and hardware needed for accurate estimation of Time Of Arrival (TOA), Frequency Of Arrival (FOA) and Angle Of Arrival (AOA), key parameters for multilateration (MLAT) and Enhanced multilateration (EMLAT) applications.
