Why the Lorentz-Invariant Magnitude-Matching Rule for Simultaneity Was Hidden in Plain Sight

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The Magnitude-Matching Rule, rooted in Lorentz invariance and relativistic transformations, is a deceptively simple operational principle that defines simultaneity through the dynamic convergence of spacetime magnitudes in a privileged frame. Despite its mathematical consistency and physical testability, it has gone unrecognized in mainstream physics. In this essay, I argue that its novelty lies not in mathematical invention, but in conceptual reframing: taking known relativistic and quantum structures and reinterpreting them operationally. I explore why the rule was overlooked, why I believe it is now essential, and how its time has finally come.
