Importance of Data Analysis in Fuzzy Environments Using Correlation with Python Code

Abstract: In decision-making environments characterized by vagueness and uncertainty, data analysis plays a pivotal role in revealing underlying patterns and relationships. This paper highlights the importance of data analysis under fuzzy settings, especially within the framework of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFS). We focus on correlation analysis—a key statistical tool—and explore the development and application of various correlation measures within the IFS context. A comparative study of existing IFS correlation methods is presented, supported by mathematical formulations and graphical illustrations. Our findings demonstrate the utility of specific correlation models in uncertain environments, contributing to better-informed decisions in real-world applications such as medical diagnosis, financial forecasting, and engineering systems.
