Wu Wen-Tsun, Ancient Chinese Mathematics and the structural isomorphism of the scale invariant I*- functor and the likewise scale invariant o- Tree

Abstract: This work explores a structural isomorphism between the scale-invariant o-Tree, as introduced in the UCFR framework (Riedel, 2024), and the I*-functor formulated by Wu Wen-Tsun. While the o - Tree functions as a black-box anchor of identity repetition across dimensional scales, the I*-functor captures calculable, compositional relationships between space-forms and their quantitative measures. Drawing from Wu's integration of form and measure in ancient Chinese mathematics, this work highlights how both constructs reflect a shared foundation: structure as recursive identity under transformation. Their alignment reinforces the UCFR's claim that emergent layers and calculable recursion are unified under minimalist generative rules that match Goethes 'Ein Versuch die Metamorphose der Pflanzen zu Erklären' in wich he derives three plus one rules(regular, irregular, stepping back/decreasing, random) of how morphology develops from one underlying generative form (the Urpflanze) and the UCFR defines as well three plus one rules (finite repetance with equity, finite repetance with modification, finite repetition with absencse/decreasing, plus energetic constraints), wich clearly are the same (but the UCFR makes it computational and generative), Stern-Brocot-, Eulers Trees, while focusing on the branching-rules instead of nodes as in Eulerian Graph-Theory and the node having an isomorphism with D. Hofstadter's Strange-Loops, namely the black-box or o-Tree. And now as well ancient chinese mathematics, Wu Wen-Tsun's I*-functor.
