Abstract: The Cognitive Harm Spectrum introduces four original, rigorously defined terms: Cognitive Poisoning, Cognitive Sabotage, Cognitive Terrorism, and Plain Sight Paradox. These terms describe distinct mechanisms through which AI systems can impair human cognition, creativity, and collective reasoning. Each term is precisely defined with unique indicators, ensuring conceptual clarity and resistance to semantic overlap. This framework provides a foundation for academic, policy, and industry discourse on the psychological and societal effects of AI.
