Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study aims to analyse recurrent patterns in phishing submissions within a global phishing reporting community, with a focus on understanding the evolution of phishing activities over time. The research investigates key aspects such as trends in valid and invalid phishing submissions, seasonal peaks in phishing activity, and correlations between submissions and verification time. The study seeks to determine if there are significant differences between valid and invalid phishing submissions, and the potential influence of specific months on phishing occurrences, offering valuable insights for future interventions.
