Abstract: —One of the major factors that transform the software engineering paradigm along with making the application development less tedious and making it less within the limits of a traditional approach is the low code and no-code platforms. A no-code platform empowers professionals and businesses to develop applications at even faster rates using a visual development environment, which gives power to technically adept developers, especially business-oriented applications. The work titled "Evaluating Low-Code and No-Code Platforms and Their Advantages and Disadvantages, and Probably Its Impacts on Software Development in Years Ahead" critically evaluates low-code and no-code platforms.The paper focuses on Law-Code and No-Code Platforms in Real-life Applications from the Financial, Healthcare and Educational Sectors. It will revolutionize the entire business through simplified workflows, automated operations, and accelerated application development without all the formal programming knowledge. Increased adoption even by start-ups or enterprises emphasizes the fact that these type of platforms lower boundaries to improve the access of technicality-laden digital solutions to all industries.
