Beyond Einstein's Space - The Case for Pressure Driven Gravity
Year: 2025
Type: dissertation
Abstract: This work presents a novel theoretical framework in which gravity emerges not from spacetime curvature alone, as in General Relativity, but from pressure gradients within a compressible vacuum medium. Bridging insights from quantum vacuum phenomena, fluid dynamics, and astrophysical anomalies, the book proposes that mass compresses the vacuum, inducing pressure gradients that generate gravitational effects. The theory offers natural explanations for dark energy, flat galaxy rotation curves (without invoking dark matter), and subtle gravitational lensing anomalies. Chapters include rigorous mathematical formulations, pressure-based modifications to Einstein’s field equations, and a range of testable predictions—ranging from Casimir effect deviations to gravitational wave dispersion. The framework also explores connections to quantum theory via stochastic vacuum models and draws analogies from superfluid systems and pilot-wave mechanics. This version includes full citations, an appendix with formal derivations, and proposals for laboratory and cosmological experiments. This book is intended for physicists, researchers, and interdisciplinary scholars interested in alternative models of gravity, vacuum physics, and the unification of fundamental forces.
