Abstract: 11. Kalanchoe prolifera (Bowie ex Hooker 1859: t. 5147) Hamet (1907: 881) (Fig. 10). Type:— Hort. Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, 1857, Madagascar, s.c. s.n. (lectotype K barcode K000232802), lectotype designated by Figueiredo & Smith (2018: 24). Iconography:— Hooker (1859), Figueiredo & Smith (2018: 24), Walters et al. (2011: 247–248). Secondary distribution:— Spain = cited by Randall (2017). [Also in Australia, Macaronesia (La Palma, Gran Canaria), South Africa] Notes:— Smith & Monro (2024) showed that the name K. prolifera was validly published by Hamet (1907: 881) and not by Hamet (1908: 19).
