Abstract: The study highlights the potential of Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) for manufacturing copper induction coils. Traditional methods, such as manual forming or powder bed fusion (PBF-LB/M), are precise but expensive and labor-intensive. In contrast, FFF could offer a more cost-effective alternative, especially for larger coils or small batch production. Initial tests with a modified FFF printer and copper filament showed promising results in terms of geometry, printability, and wall thickness.
