Abstract: This study examines the importance of emotional intelligence as a key factor in developing leadership roles in teacher training colleges (Escuelas Normales) in the state of Coahuila and at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. The aim is to counteract individualism among students in a post-Covid-19 context and in the face of increasing use of artificial intelligence and online work environments. The article addresses socioemotional implications, the role of educational leadership, and strategies to foster emotional well-being and collaborative work in digital settings, ultimately contributing to a more human, empathetic, and adaptable educational landscape.
