Abstract: Many models and frameworks have been proposed to organize scientific communications at global, national, and organizational levels. Although familiarity with these models and frameworks is very beneficial, their application, especially in a specific context, remains a subject of inquiry. For this reason, a framework for constructing and applying a suitable model for scientific communications was developed at the Iranian Research Institute for Science and Technology, which was implemented in several steps. The book "Management of Scientific Communications" begins with the placement of communications within the institution of science and progresses to the structure of scientific communications and the management models relevant to the Iran Document Organization (IranDoc). The management model, strategic planning, and action plan, along with the framework for surveying and reporting scientific communications in IranDoc, are topics presented within this framework.
