Abstract: The author examines likely scenarios pertaining to the world of librarianship that may arise from the incoming administration. They call for a retrenchment in values-based librarianship, examine what those values are, and encourage introspection among library professionals. The article closes with a series of recommendations for all levels of librarianship to meet the potential shocks the field will face in the years ahead, emphasizing the importance of solidarity.
