Imaris Analysis of Pseudomonas aggregates and motility
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This protocol contains Imaris creation parameter files for the analysis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. These creation parameters were used to analyze Pseudomonas planktonic and aggregated cells (Pseudomonas_surfaces_planktonic_and_aggregate). Planktonic and aggregate analysis was designed with and is intended to be used on 3D confocal microscopy images of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Also included are Imaris creation parameters for the analysis of Pseudomonas motility. There are two files for motility tracking. One is specifically used to track only the motile cells within a particular field (Motilty_tracking_motile_cells) and the other for tracking all cells, including non motile or those that do not meet motility criteria (Motility_tracking_all_cells). Motility tracking analysis was designed with and is intended to used on 2D, high speed (>10frames per second) confocal microscopy videos of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
