Abstract: This paper addresses three different themes concerning Zalabardo’s Pragmatist Semantics: Wittgenstein’s representational theory in the Tractatus, with a focus on the Tractarian interpretation of semantic discourses and the concept of elucidation; second, a brief re-examination of the notion of acceptance and the capacity of Zalabardo’s account to clarify the meaning grounds for semantic discourses containing vague predicates; and third, a discussion of the notion of grounding that underlies his account of meaning grounds
