Abstract: Changes in the global economy and even in the socially and sustainably sustainable economy (SSE) are the result of the rapid adoption of e-commerce and digital technology. Many conventional businesses are disappearing because they have failed to keep pace with digitization and the new type of digital currency. Online payment systems have changed the way goods and services are paid. The development of digital currency and cryptocurrencies is one of the major economic changes. This study examines the opportunities and challenges that cryptocurrency presents for the SSE. The purpose of this article is to understand the exciting relationship between cryptocurrency and the social and solidarity economy sphere. A thoughtful and ethical approach is essential to maximize the benefits of cryptocurrency in the context of SSE, while minimizing potential risks.
