Abstract: The task will provide for an automated backend algorithm tool to ensure that information exchanges are validated. The aim is to ensure exchanges they are compliant with a set of quality standards, to reduce, and where possible eliminate, any erroneous information transfers from taking place, as well as provide feedback that there are errors in the data/information streams. Algorithms to be developed will include unit checks, evaluations of life cycle inventories compliance with data standards formats (ISO 14048:2002; ecoSpold v2) and linkages to nomenclatures ISIC), mass balance evaluations across the product life cycle, and LCA uncertainty evaluations due to different end-of-use routes. The output will be a backend service that can ingest information, carry out the algorithms, and provide for an assessment report.
