Face Recognition with Voice and Message Alert for Secure Hostel Management

Abstract: - This research presents a new system for the management of hostels that integrates facial recognition with voice and message alerts to enhance security and administrative efficiency. The system applies deep learning algorithms to identify students entering and exiting the hostel premises, marking attendance automatically and keeping track of unauthorized entry. If unauthorized individuals are detected, the system gives real-time voice alerts and messages to the administrators of the hostels. Experimental results demonstrate that the system has an accuracy rating of 97.8% in identifying faces under varying conditions. This solution presents a pragmatic solution towards the modernization of the system for managing hostels, particularly in academic institutions where the safety of the students takes precedence
