Abstract: During episodes of depression, people may exhibit symptoms including feelings of despair, sorrow, decreased energy, sleep disturbances, diminished self-worth, impaired concentration, lack of interest, and thoughts of suicide. During episodes of depression, individuals have challenges in carrying out their everyday tasks and are often unable to get pleasure from life.Bipolar illness may significantly impact an individual's social interactions, professional performance, and general quality of life. Hence, a precise diagnosis and suitable treatment strategy are crucial. The etiology of bipolar disorder remains uncertain, however, the interplay between hereditary and environmental variables contributes to the pathogenesis of the condition. The standard course of treatment often involves a combination of psychotherapy and medication.
