About Some Historical-geographical Places in the Southern Borders of the Kingdom of the Temurids in "baburnama"

Abstract: In the source of "Boburnoma" that has reached us, more than 1800 place names are given. Geographically, these toponyms correspond mainly to the territory of Central Asia (Movarounnahr, Khorasan, and Afghanistan), Pakistan, and North India. From “Boburnoma” you can get information about the historical-geographical history of Central Asia and Northern India, in particular, about the country's administrative-territorial situation, oronim (mountains, valleys, steppes, and deserts) and hydronyms(water mines), oikonim (cities and villages), fauna and flora, the geography of ethno-territorial situation, historical toponymy in general. “Boburnoma” mentions the names of more than 100 places in the territory of Pakistan during Babur's campaign in India. This article discusses some toponymic places in Pakistan mentioned in Boburnoma.
