Abstract: This presentation contributed to a session about data stewardship at the BRIDGE Conference in Bucharest, Romania, on March 20-21, 2025. The BRIDGE Conference (https://bridge.uefiscdi.ro/) fostered cross-disciplinary perspectives by bringing together experts and practitioners from research infrastructures and international data-related initiatives and projects as well as policy makers, researchers, and innovators. The session on data stewardship focused on questions around data steward profiles, intergration of data stewardship services with other research support services, and the role of data stewards in inter- and cross-disciplinary research. This presentation introduced Research Data Alliance, RDA Europe, and the activities focusing on data stewardship in the RDA.
