Abstract: The field of medical education is continuously evolving, with advancements in technology playing a pivotal role in shaping pedagogical approaches. E-learning has emerged as a significant tool in the delivery of educational content, particularly in subjects as intricate as microbiology. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of e-learning methodologies in teaching introductory microbiology to first-year MBBS students. It encompasses a review of relevant literature, student feedback, comparison with traditional teaching methods, and the implications for medical curricula.
