Abstract: this article investigates the units of phraseology with the verbsexpressing the semantics of intensification in English and Uzbek languages. This articleexplores the rows of the units of phraseology with verbs expressing the semantics ofintensification in English and Uzbek languages. Generally, idioms are divided into twocategories: idioms with giperbolizator and idioms without giperbolizator and the examplesrelated to both of them are illustrated.
