Abstract: The people of the Sangam period lived in harmony with nature. Culture is a set of behaviors, habits and traditions learned by a group from generation to generation. The word ‘culture’ is associated only with humans, and such high cultural values distinguish humans from other creatures and show them as superior. In this way, this article aims to highlight the food culture records of the people of the Sangam period recorded in Sangam literature.
