Abstract: Anthophora (Micranthophora) hololeuca Cockerell, 1923 [Holotype: CASC; ♀ Puerto Refugio, Isla Ángel de la Guardia, Baja California, Mexico; June 29, 1921] This species is abundant in the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts (Orr et al. 2018). This bee specializes on pollen from plants in the family Fabaceae (Orr et al. 2018). It has been documented in BC’s Lower Colorado and Central Deserts, as well as in the Gulf Coast region in BCS (Orr et al. 2018). We examined 16 specimens (11 ♀, 5 ♂) from the Gulf Coast and Lower Colorado Desert (CASC). Additionally, the BBPT collected 80 specimens (42 ♂, 38 ♀) in May 2021 and 2022 in the Lower Colorado Desert in Mexicali. Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB (Supplementary material 1). See fig. 74.
