Survey on R&I Needs of the EC2U Alliance

Abstract: This report presents the results of a large-scale survey on R&I needs that was carried out among the seven EC2U university communities (research groups, PhD students, etc.), the seven EC2U city and regional administrations, all EC2U associated partners (chambers of commerce, R&I parks, etc.) and a selection of other economic, social and cultural stakeholders (local and regional enterprises, citizens, cultural organisations, etc.) to (1) identifying priority interdisciplinary research and innovation activities that should be carried out inside the three existing EC2U Virtual Institutes (VI for Health and Well-Being, VI for Quality Education - Language and Cultural Diversity, VI for Sustainable Cities and Communities) and (2) to identify the main research topics of the new EC2U Virtual Institutes.
