Abstract: The subject of the study is the theoretical and methodological aspects of the formation of an investment strategy for the development of the production activity of enterprises under the conditionsof a circular economy.The purpose of the study is to outline the economic essence of the formation of an investment strategyfor the development of production activities of enterprises under the conditions of a circular economy,taking into account scientific approaches and prospects for the development of entrepreneurship.Research methods. The research used a set of scientific methods and approaches, includingsystematic, logical, induction, deduction, the method of comparisons and visual representation, whichmade it possible to ensure the conceptual unity of the research.Results of work. The article substantiates the need for the formation of an investment strategy forthe development of the production activity of enterprises under the conditions of a circular economy,and defines the economic essence of the concept of «investment strategy for the development of theproduction activity of enterprises».Field of application of results. The sphere of development of business structures and in thesystem of higher education in the changing conditions of today.Conclusions. The main conclusions of the study and its methodological results can be summarizedas follows: based on the analysis of the development of enterprises in the livestock industry underthe conditions of the circular economy, it has been proven that in order to ensure the sustainabledevelopment of business entities in the context of the principles of the circular economy, it is appropriateto form an investment strategy for the development of their production activities.
